"J.L. White Book" refers to "J. L. White's Edition of The Sacred Harp," a songbook published in Atlanta. There is limited availability of the 2007 reprint of this book used at singings. Contact the organizers of the Decatur GA singings from this book for more info. "Christian Harmony 1873/2015" refers to the The 2015 Folk Heritage Edition of the Christian Harmony which is a facsimile reprint of the 1873 second edition. Often referred to as the "Carolina book," or "Walker book," it retains the content of the original 1873 edition and the unique 7-shape notation system devised by William Walker.
